Anger Management

Anger doesn’t come out of the clear blue sky. People get angry because they have been hurt and that is viewed as an injustice. They have learnt how to be angry. Sometimes the learning took place recently and sometimes it started a long time ago but in either case it requires that those issues are addressed so that anger can be managed, and you can then feel that you are in control not the angry part.  

Anger management is necessary when it is hurting you and those around you including your family and children or people in the workplace or in public. When you are angry you have effectively allowed yourself to be robbed of inner peace and contentment.

Change is possible and anger management counseling is the fastest way to get your life, family and yourself back to a better place where you are in control of yourself and you are more happy and peaceful.

David is experienced and trained in a number of therapies and proven treatments for managing anger. He can help you with the issues that are causing your anger and assist you to get back to a productive and happy life where you feel you are in control not the anger.

David uses a range of therapy approaches to treat anger issues, including Schema Therapy, Chairwork, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and brief psychodynamic psychotherapy.  These are proven approaches that are based on research.

Appointments are available:
 

  • Monday to Thursday: 10:00am – 7:30pm

  • Friday: 8:30am – 12:30pm

  • Saturday: 8:00am – 10:00am
     

Medicare and Private Health Insurance rebates may be available for eligible clients.
